lonely hearts
club
a club of extra special animals
searching for very special people
At Rescue
Village we go the extra 100 miles if need be for every creature.
Lonely Hearts Club members get extra attention because they
might be older, or bigger, or sight-impaired, or need some
custom care. But, just like every other animal, they deserve
someone to love them forever. This program devotes time to "getting
the word out" about our most needy Rescue Village residents.
Look closely, you might find your new best friend!

Holly
Intake: 9/2/2011
Holly’s Story: We do not think that Holly was socialized very well when she was young, since she tends to get frightened easily.
Holly’s Personality: Since Holly is easily frightened, she needs a person to help her overcome her shyness. She has plenty of energy but is very well-mannered. Once she is comfortable, she is very playful and affectionate! Holly is very sweet and will make a great companion for her new person or family.
Ideal Home: Holly would do well in a home with no cats (since she has shown interest in chasing them) with an owner who will work to reassure her and show her lots of affection. She is mostly housebroken and would love a chance to be your sweet companion.

Ralphie
Intake: 11/27/2011
Ralphie’s Story: Ralphie was found this past winter as a homeless stray.
Ralphie’s Personality: Ralphie is very shy and quiet, but once he gets to know you he will pour on the love. He loves to snuggle on your lap and be petted.
Ideal Home: Ralph will need a quiet home with an owner who is willing to give him time to adjust. He was probably chased by humans while he was out fending for himself, so it will take him a little time to learn to trust again. Can you open your heart to this gentle and very loving boy?
