A Recent Rescue from Humane Agent Christian

On Friday, April 9th, I received a call from an anonymous source about a property in the Chesterland area.  The caller said that the inside of the house was “a mess” and that there were several dogs in dark cages inside the home.  He told me it was like seeing something from an Animal Cops TV show.

I responded right away, and upon arrival I met with an elderly woman who said she owned the home and the dogs.  She agreed to give up the dogs.

On Friday , all six dogs were groomed by the good folks at All About Dogs.

What began as a routine complaint, turned into a life changing event for these little dogs.  Here at Rescue Village, we consider it normal for our dogs to have clean water every day, the dogs have their own clean bed, and they are fed regular, high quality meals, and are showered with attention by the staff and volunteers.  It’s normal here, but for these dogs it’s a complete turn around from the dirty and lonely life they had before.  Soon they will go up for adoption and truly begin their new life.
