Help us Save Lives - Become a Foster!
By fostering a homeless pet, you are enabling us to have more space at the shelter to take in more animals. There are hundreds of dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens that need our help. The more animals we can take in, the more lives we can save. Simply put: Foster families save lives, and we are always in need of more foster homes.
Fostering can last from a few weeks to a few months. We work with you to find the best foster situation for you and your family.
Adoption Rovers Program
The dogs are out on the town looking for their forever home! Select dogs from Rescue Village are taking part in our new Adoption Rovers program. We have a limited number of kennels for dogs at Rescue Village. Plus, with so many dogs vying for the attention of adopters, some great dogs have been getting overlooked. So we’ve enlisted the help of our volunteer fosters to take the dogs in to their homes with the purpose of getting them adopted.
They will be out at local parks, dog-friendly businesses, and community events to meet you. They will be wearing their bright orange “Adopt Me” vests. Feel free to contact their foster parent to see where they will be next so can see if they are the right dog for you and your lifestyle.
