Holiday Open House - Join us on Saturday, December 9th and Sunday, December 10th from Noon to 4:00pm both days for a Holiday Open House Rescue Village style. Meet special guests, author Sandra J. Philipson and illustrator Jenny Campbell, who will be on hand to autograph purchased copies of the latest book in the Max & Annie series, Forever Home, Trini’s Story.

The Open House is free to the public, but please consider brining a donation of dog food, cat food, bedding or toys to the Rescue Village Giving Tree.

Festival of Trees - The Cleveland Play House, located at 8500 Euclid Ave.,Cleveland, OH (216 795-7000), is holding their annual Festival of Trees from November 22 - December 31, 2006. The event features 70 decorated holiday trees throughout the Play House lobby, including a Rescue Village tree which was decorated by our wonderful volunteers - Pat, Wendy, Connie, Katie and Carol. Viewing hours are 9am - 6pm; Cost: FREE.

    Rescue Village was pleased to host GoldenPalace.com Casino's traveling museum on Thursday, August 24, 2006. Visitors to Rescue Village where able to view one of a kind items including Cher's shoe, Jesus on a perogi, William Shatner's kidney stone, the famous grilled cheese Virgin Mary sandwich, and Britney Spears pregnancy test.
